It was great to see your smiling face and great attitude on the video. I hope you will get to Dudy-Noble soon. We are projected to have a heck of a pitching staff this year, perhaps the best in the SEC, which usually means the best in the nation! It is a truism in baseball - if the opposing team can't score against you, they can't beat you. Our seasn starts in a short eleven days and we have a really tough schedule but are blessed with a lot of home games this year. I see that he SEC has ONLY three teams ranked in the pre-season top five, so our work is cut out for us. I am ready to go back to Omaha! I have been to the last four College World Series games, and that atmosphere is like a final four (I attended that as well in 1996).

I have a stand in first-position, right centerfield, against the centerfield wall, and we BBQ behind the wall. I also have a skybox, again, first position on the first base side. I only use the skybox for really nasty weather. I have watched MSU baseball from the "left field lounge" for over three decades and watching it from the skybox just doesn't seem right. Most people think I am crazy, but those are people who have really never experienced the game from the outfield louge areas, year-after-year.

I wear a "Duffy" wristband every day and have plenty of spare ones to replace those that break. I wish you the best and pray that you will continue to work hard to get better and continue to have a positive attitude.

I hope to see you when you get to MSU.
