STARKVILLE – The No. 2 Mississippi State baseball program has announced a change to its midweek schedule due to wet weather in the Starkville area early in the week. The Diamond Dawgs will now play North Alabama on Wednesday, March 24.
Mississippi State (16-4) will now throw the first pitcher at 6 p.m. against North Alabama (1-16) at Dudy Noble Field on Wednesday. Tickets for Tuesday’s contest are valid for Wednesday’s games versus the Lions.
Following the midweek contest, Dudy Noble Field will prepare for a three-game series between the top two teams in college baseball, as No. 1 Arkansas comes to town. The series begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26.
