BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (May 20, 2021) –Single session tickets to the 2021 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament will be available for purchase beginning Saturday, May 22 at 6 p.m. CT or one hour after the conclusion of the last game of the SEC baseball regular season.
The SEC Baseball Tournament returns to the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala., May 25-30.
The Southeastern Conference is continually attentive to the changing circumstances related to COVID-19. The SEC will monitor attendance each day and will continue to make tickets available based on supporting a healthy environment for fans.
Single session reserved tickets will sell for $24 each and can be purchased at www.SECticketoffice.com or by calling 1-877-332-7804.
A limited number of tickets will also be made available at the gate for each session of the tournament. The Hoover Met box office opens at 8:30 am CT Tuesday through Thursday, 2 pm on Friday, 11 am on Saturday and 12:30 pm on Sunday.
Other important information to know for the 2021 edition of the SEC Baseball Tournament:
- All tickets purchased online will be mobile tickets. Instructions for viewing and accessing tickets will be available once they are emailed to the ticket holder’s personal device.
- Permanent seating (chair back and bleacher back) in the stadium will be reserved seats. In past years, bleacher back seats have been general admission seating, but for the 2021 tournament this section will be reserved seats.
- Face coverings are expected for non-vaccinated individuals when entering and exiting the stadium, as well as in non-seated public spaces, such as concourses, restrooms and concessions lines. Consistent with CDC guidelines, vaccinated individuals will not be required to wear face coverings.
- Although there will be no Fan Fest activities in the Finley Center in 2021 due to Covid protocols, a limited number of fan entertainment activities will be held outside the Finley Center throughout the week.
- The SEC’s clear bag policy will be in effect as usual for the SEC Baseball Tournament.
The SEC Baseball Tournament will feature 12 teams with seeds 5-12 playing in a single elimination format on the opening day of the tournament, Tuesday, May 25, followed by traditional double-elimination play Wednesday-Friday. The tournament will return to single elimination play on Saturday. A total of 17 games are scheduled to be played throughout the week with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, May 30 at 2 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
