STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs defeated the Memphis Tigers by a score of 17-9 in midweek action on Tuesday night at Dudy Noble Field. The Dawgs were in a 9-3 hole in the fifth, but they responded well, scoring 14 unanswered runs. State tallied 16 hits as a team and batted .380 for the game.
