STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs’ comeback against No. 2 LSU came up short, as they were defeated 9-8 by the Tigers. Playing in front of 13,974 fans, the Tigers jumped out to an early 9-1 lead over the Dawgs, but MSU scored seven unanswered runs before falling in the game.
