Vanderbilt ace Kumar Rocker did not sign with the New York Mets after being selected 10th overall in Major League Baseball’s draft. The sides had until 4 p.m. CT Sunday to reach an agreement. According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, he will not return to the Commodores and instead will pursue another option, such as independent baseball or playing overseas.
