STARKVILLE – With its opening weekend schedule changed due to weather, the Mississippi State baseball program has altered the schedule for its home opening midweek series against Jackson State. The Bulldogs and Tigers will now play one game on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field.
The Tuesday, Feb. 23 game has been postponed. Fans that have already downloaded mobile tickets for the two games are asked to not delete tickets for the cancelled Tuesday, Feb. 23 contest.
More information regarding tickets for the original series will be emailed to account holders that had tickets for each game.
After 346 days without a game, Mississippi State will open the 2021 campaign at the State Farm College Baseball Showdown in Arlington, Texas. The three-day event will be held at Globe Life Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers, with MSU scheduled to face No. 12 Texas in the season opener at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20.
