Weather Forces Schedule Change for NCAA Starkville Regional

VCU/Campbell to play at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Mississippi State to face winner at 11 a.m. on Monday

STARKVILLE – With rain moving through the Golden Triangle early in the day, the NCAA has announced that the Starkville Regional will shift its schedule. The Campbell/VCU contest will now begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (June 6) and that will shift the Regional Final game to a Monday (June 7) start at 11 a.m.

Mississippi State won its first two games to move into the winner’s bracket final, while Campbell and VCU will meet in an elimination game at Dudy Noble Field on Sunday. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

Sunday, June 6

Game 5: Campbell (H) vs. VCU (A) – 6:30 p.m. first pitch

Monday, June 7

Game 6: Mississippi State (A) vs. Game 5 Winner – 11 a.m. first pitch

If necessary: Game 6 Winner vs. Game 6 Loser – 3 p.m. first pitch
